The Premier Heavy Duty Rock (CDR) Auger is built to drill in some of the toughest ground conditions you’ll encounter. Designed specifically for rock, caliche, shale, and highly compacted soils, this auger features carbide bullet teeth and reinforced construction to stand up to extreme abuse.

With thicker flighting, a heavy center tube, and hard-faced leading edges, this auger is engineered for maximum durability and long service life. For best performance in hard ground, Premier recommends maximum down pressure and slower RPMs, allowing the carbide teeth to effectively penetrate rock and dense material.

This is a 4′ (48″) long auger, making it ideal for fencing, footings, sign posts, and construction applications where strength and reliability matter.
